I've heard a million and one different ones are the "best". Some of the converters don't even do .dpg though lol. So which one is the best? Free or not I don't care I just want a converter with good quality and NO AUDIO LAG! Thanks

Are you ready to hear the same "million and one different ones" again? [IMG]

I'm not going to start the list but one thing I've found is that most audio lag after converting to .dpg is caused by the computer being stressed (ie 100% CPU too much of the time, trying to do other CPU intensive tasks at the same time as using the recoder no matter which one it is) It's not a problem with just .dpg I've seen it when converting X to DVDs,

I use Dpgenc included in the Moonshell 2 releases. The quality is quite similar to other converters, but I find the advantage of it is that you can skip to any part of the video quickly and without the initial video corruption compared to others, which take a long time.
