Hacking Best Color DS?

I'll be getting my DS back with a Pikachu case on it. Down the road, I'll buy a Black shell and have the bottom half done in black while leaving the Pikachu yellow on the top half.

I like my Polar White DS solely due to the fact that I can use my crystal case to customize it with skins and such, but I have to clean it sometimes.

I voted for Onyx, but if there were Red I'd totally go with it.

P.S. I don't like Crimson/Onyx, just less than half of it is red.

Actually, the fact that the back is rough makes the crimson/black so special..There are no fingerprints, and scratches..
I'd like them to make one whole lite that way..black would be nice..

So true..If black was made to where it was insmudgable(if I spelled it correctly or if it even is a real word) I would buy it in a heartbeat. But those fingerprints are so annoying on the black. P.S. What is wrong with the screens on the crimson black one?

Some consoles was released in sales with screens that had yellowish tints (screens seem lower quality)..
Not all of them had that problem, but it's a shame that happened with crimson/black edition. (I've read somewhere that one whole seria of NDS Lites was released with that problem, but I can't confirm it)

I have a white DS Lite from launch, a gold Zelda DS Lite from last Christmas, and a cobalt/black DS Lite from a few weeks ago.
They all have the yellowish touch screen.

Well, you can say that you have REALLY BAD LUCK..That sucks man..I have Polar white and Crimson/Black and screens are just fine, no yellowish tints for me..Hmmmmmm........did you tried to get replacement for any of them? I've read that Nintendo sometimes replaces those Nintendos with the new ones..

Call Nintendo, you have a 1 year manufacturer warranty, so as far as the last 2 go, you can indeed get them switched out, just send them back with the information.
