Hacking Before I get an R4...

Why not go for the N-card then it has 100% compatibility and it also supports homebrew, auto dldi patching, No slowdown with any game(the r4 slows down with some games depending on what micro sd you have) you can skin the N-card(however the r4 skins look far better) the N-card is cheaper than the r4.

The downsides slow writing times, you need to use slot 2 to transfer files, you need to pick your save type(no big deal you can download the latest save type, there no soft reset or cheat function.

Thegame are you getting kickbacks from the N-Card people? Because just about every post I
see of yours your pushing it like you get a commission for everyone soled. I turned a friend
onto a N-Card because you were pushing it so hard & he's not happy with it. He don't like the
save mess & just finds it slower & chlunkier then the R4/ Simply. Now he wants to exchange
it & is pissed at me for recommending it & giving him a choice.

I just give people what experiences i have had. Also i suggest you do some reading first before you buy a product. If you read the gbatemp reeview you would know about all the stuff your moaning about. Also why would i care about how many sales the n-card team gets.

i suggest you learn to read before you start accusing people. i also have over 2000 posts so tell me how many of my posts are trying to get someone to buy the N-card

It simply works. I don't have to do anything to make it work; I literally drag folders with files in them to an SD card, put it into the R4, and start up the DS...there it is. I can't imagine wanting anything else, because well...how much easier/more effective does it get than this?

yeah theres nothing wrong with the r4 at all. i was just making a cheaper suggestion/ i wish the n-card had a cheat function/soft reset :'(

I was joking about the N-card kickback, it’s just for the longest time you were the only person that I ever saw talk about it. And I didn’t buy it, I would never buy a card with so few people owning it. A friend asked me for suggestions & I mentioned the CycloDS that was coming out & the N-card that you recommended. He didn’t want the SC because of the saves or the R4 because of the spring. So there wasn’t much left, I’m not blaming you for anything the N-card is not a bad card for the price. I like the R4 better but that’s just my preference, I just mentioned it to you because my friend is now bitching at me about it. But that’s what I get for trying to help someone.

well the n-card has more chinese customers or so i have heard the r4 is just more popular on gbatemp and some other places. Think about it theres about 6 clones and they all must sell or they wouldnt clone the cards in the first place

The card is really great and once your friends stops moaning he will soon discover that. What problems is he having because the n-card isnt slow at all with the latest update

Also hes sure not going to have problems when trying to run any game so i dont see what he can moan about

he seems a bit on the fussy side i suggest you say to him he would be better buying offcial nintendo ds games if hes so fussy because no card perfect at the moment
