Gaming Been out of it for awhile, but just 1 quick question

My wii was last updated with the safe 3.2 update. I want to download the new Internet Channel, but will I be able to access the shop with 3.2?

If not, is there a safe way to update to 4.0 or whatever it is now? My wii can play backups from the disc channel and I have a few WADs installed (though I don't play them... but that changes nothing).

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

I don't think you can access the shop without the latest firmware.
Why can't you just download the new Internet channel WAD file from torrents or so and install it that way on your Wii?

I've been trying to stay as clean as I can lately. I'll do that if I have to, but I'm more interested in updating. But thank you.
