I ordered a EUR New 3DS XL £150 from eBay, but im curious about the EUR console factory FW version.
I know that the AUS console came with 9.2.0-20 but there were rumors that the 'Actual' EUR consoles would have a later FW. Seeing as i use GW I'd like to know if the 'Actual' EUR consoles come with 9.2.0-20.

Also how do I go about setting GW up on my New 3DS XL, I only have the red card now since my dog ate my blue card, cliche I know.

It depends on when it was made, you cant just catagorise it into EUR/AUS/US/JPN and assume its 9.2

To set gw up, you'll need a copy of cubic ninja or ocarina of time & a save dongle/a 3ds with gw set up, once. Then you could set up the mset exploit.

All of this will only work, if your console is on fw =<9.2

i have a 3ds xl on gateway, and i'll have to borrow OoT from a friend im guesing its like twilight hack on the wii or smashstack on wii u

do you have any other ds flashcard? If you do, you can also install the flashcard timewarp, so you don't have to use Oot to flash NVRAM again, if you accidentally loose it. (by playing ds games, or doing a system format for example)

i could easily buy one, but i dont see the need as i play my ds games on desmume , plus i have a 9.2 3ds xl so i could use that for ds games. the new 3ds is for newer games like xc and mh4 but its nice to know i can still play fantasy life on my new 3ds xl when it arrives and pokemon, can new 3ds xl dump new 3ds exclusives like xc cause i read its like 3.9gb

Yes it can dump exclusives and also generate correct xorpads for them, I think

It is a very low chance to find 9.2 Nintendo had pushing many to 9.4 and until now more higher.
Your only bet is to ask what serial it is at online store or ebay.
