Hacking Been away from the wii for about a year

Well I haven't touched my wii in about a year, it is 3.2E and i remember loading all that stuff from the 'softmii' package onto it
How do I get this thing up to date to play all the newer games (eg lego harry potter, super mario galaxy 2)?

I tried installing waninkoko cios r21 but I still get a blue screen (error 002) trying to play these games

Update using Modmii. Or alternatively if you want to start afresh, use the "Modify any Wii 4.3 & Below" guide. Go to the stickies and it should bring you up to speed

dont know about softmii but you could just use DOPMii and install the missing IOS files - i am still on 3.2 and have no trouble playing SMG2

IIRC, Softmii installed a really old version of cIOSCORP, one that would prevent the HBC from running. So first you would have to install a clean IOS somewhere to let the Hackmii installer run.
To get your Wii up to date, run ModMii to remod your wii.
