Yep as long as it matches your region... Basically you need the USA version for US EUR version for Europe and JAP version for Japan (for your sake I hope you haven't got a JAP console it costs like $100 for CN)

I'm having an issue here... So i bought my Cubic Ninja for 4,50€ new (I shit you not) and I followed the steps to install Gateway. Backed up my nand, did the format, loaded emuNAND and then updated it. Since it has restarted I'd now have to redo the CN exploit to reload my emuNAND but I get a black screen. I load CN, QRCode, Gateway pops up automatically, insert the red card, boot gateway mode and black screen. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.

Since you're using Cubic Ninja to launch Gateway then i'm guessing you have an N3DS. Gateway emuNAND doesn't support firmwares higher than 9.5.0-23 for N3DS yet, so since you updated emuNAND directly then it won't launch.

Reformat emuNAND, install SysUpdater, put 9.5.0-23 cia files in updates folder and update emuNAND since it's the lastest supported emuNAND firmware.

Yeah.. It does have a lot of great stuff that O3DS doesn't have. If you want to play online, use eShop or anything that requires to update, use FreeMultiPatcher.

You need to download 9.5.0-23 N3DS cia files and put them in the updates folder in the root of your SD card. I don't think it's possible to download the files with 3DNUS anymore, so i'll send you a PM with a link to a website where you can download it.

When you have the cia files in updates folder, go to SysUpdater in emuNAND and press A to update. It shouldn't take long at all.
