Just block your Wii U's MAC-adress in your router, that way you won't be able to update since the console can't connect to the internet. But no online play of course.

We have no idea yet when it will be released but, we can only wait after the update is pushed so for now just don't let the console connect to the internet. You can also just delete internet settings in system settings.

except you are missing the one thing jap versions arent doing, integrating the 3ds and wiiu eshop into one megastore with over 2000 titles. That will for sure require big changes.

Except you are missing this "mega store" is web based, it changes nothing on 3DS/Wii U side.

I didn't buy the Smash DLCs. The prices are too dann high.
