Sorry that it took so long (again), but there's a lot of great stuff in this update, so I hope you guys enjoy it!
And please, PLEASE spread the word about this game. Everyone who's played it knows it's awesome, but it's still relatively obscure and I can only do so much to get people interested in the game. If you like it, please tell your friends about it. Remember, the more people that play it, the more BDX files are available!

By the way, the creator of Degausser was supposedly working on a new version to natively support JWTB, but I haven't heard from him in months so who knows if he'll ever get around to that.

Anyway, here's the changelog:

Also, new players who just want to check the game out without having to worry about the custom songs aspect can use this save file full of Anime songs.

http://www.mediafire.com/?z6n2h9y676xx0rg

Note that this was made on CycloDS and may not work on other cards. If it fails to load the songs when using a different card, try changing the save to 32MB and trying again. Of course, don't forget to rename the save to the same name as the game.

My god, this pack has a lot of songs!
laugh.gif

Well, I've always been kinda interested in JWTB, but never got into it. No time like the present. Just one question: can JWTB only read the first 50 custom songs imported into it, or can it go up to 100? I'm a tad confused on that point. And as a followup to that, I guess: is the Japanese version playable if I know absolutely no Japanese (if I can only add 50 songs to JWTB)?

JWTB can only read the first 50 song slots in BDX Tool, but if you use the Degausser method, you can add up to 200 songs, but it's much more complicated.

Gameplay in Daigasso! Band Brothers DX (JWTB's Japanese version) is identical to JWTB's and requires no Japanese knowledge, but navigating the menus is a different story. If I were you, I would familiarize myself with the menus in JWTB and then switch to DBBDX for easier song slot access once I'd have memorized the menus.

Well, I used Degausser to add 100 songs into a JWTB save file (doing the HJSplit thing) but only the first 50 seem to be recognized. I've yet to attempt to load into download slots; that'll probably be tomorrow. Ah well, I suppose it's time to learn how AKAIO's multi-save management works. As a side note, I've found Degausser easier to use, but maybe that's me being weird.

In any case, thanks for the introduction to the game and thanks for the pack. It must've been tons of work, but the end result is pretty awesome.

Try using the download slots. I'm pretty sure the game should recognize everything you put into it with Degausser, though I'm not positive since I generally still use DBBDX since I know my way around all the menus and it's much easier to add songs to IMO.

But yeah, I definitely suggest using a multiple save manager if you have one, it's much easier than having to constantly swap out songs.

You're very welcome.
Though keep in mind that I didn't actually MAKE any of these files, I just collected them from various sources. The true thanks should go to the creators.

I tried to add some screenshots to the Filetrip page, but they got resized and are mostly impossible to read. Any idea how I can delete them?

What is the Degausser method? Is it the trick where you split your save into 4 parts so that Degausser will read it?
