Quick note: I WAS going to post this in the Games & Content section, but since I got the game from USBHelper and am running it via Homebreeeeew... yeeeah.
So, the game works fine if you don't watch cutscenes all the way though. That wouldn't be a problem, if I weren't interested in them. I mean, I can only watch a bit before having to skip, so that the game doesn't crash. But again, if I bypass cutscenes, the game works as it should. Oh, and in-game ones work alright.
Though the error code is about the External Hard Drive, every other of my 40+ games work just fine. It's just this one. I even redownloaded and made sure the files are in tact, but still nothing.
I'm about to sleep, so I cant give the exact error code and message. I'd also have to redo y 30 minutes of gamplay to even reach the scene again. So, I might give an update on that later.
I'll check back on this thread after my nap.
Thanks all!
Big update: Loaded up the game and got into a mini boss fight. I got this message now: "The USB device is write-protected. Please refer to the manual for the device and disable write protection."
I'm 100% certain the HDD is not write protected. I never enabled it, and if it were, I wouldn't have even been able to get into the gameplay just now.
Is my Wii U just drunk? I was actually just intending on getting the ORIGINAL error code for you all to see. Now this happens. Just, Jeez.
Final info update, I swear:
Alright, so I powered through the level and reached the scene again, and it crashed again. I even tried using the front USB slots rather than the back ones.
Here is the message:
