Battlefield 3 getting high res texture pack

That may be the case, Old8oy, but there's only one way to find out.

EDIT: And it wasn't. So yeah.

Alright, that is pretty awesome. I might not buy this at launch in case of any major bugs/glitches, but this is definitely on my radar.
What'll you be getting it for?

System wise (If that's what you're asking)? My 360, since my laptop probably wouldn't be able to handle Battlefield 3, let alone any game made in the past 8 years or so.

be careful Gahars...

it might be a trap...
I have no idea what your talking about, I was simply curious.

gotta be careful. you give some of these kids an "in" and they think you're BFFFs ;)
I don't do that, a person should never take forum relationships [too] seriously.

Also, even for a normal teenager that wouldn't happen because this isn't Facebo-
Um...this isn't Twitt-

Was really hyped for this but recent "hands on" write ups indicates that people looking for a good single player game are going to be left wanting with this game. Battlefield is more known for multiplayer so fans of the series wouldn't care.

This is probably going to be the first FPS title I'm going to buy on launch.

This.

Reminds me of the crazy BF2 days. In some ways this game is more BF2, in others it's like BC2. So a mixture of both and some new. Can't judge BF3 if you only played BC2 and didn't like it, especially if you haven't played the maps with the jets on them. And then there's 64 player conquest mode.

The game loos good. additional textures for console users? That aspect will set it apart from MW3. I can see it now, the BF3 users saying that it looks much better than MW3 and that MW3 looks like shit. :P

TBH I'm actually looking forward to Star Wars Battlefront 3.

Well, aren't we all?

Considering how much money that thing would make if released, it amazes me that after so many years they still haven't even announced anything. It's a crying shame.
