Oh hey that is out today isn't it?
Gonna have to get a copy of that. Looked like fun. Also any chance to play as Nirvash is awesome.
Oh and Dunbine?! Yea. Definitely getting this.

EDIT: Well upon looking though the files it seems quite a bit of useful data is stored in the Eboot. So we could in theory just translate that and make a quick and ugly patch for that, if anyone wanted to. (Also assuming there are no issues with fonts and what not). If we run into any snags though I'd stop and continue with Danball (Not stopping on Danball, just giving this a quick look. Less than 5MB of data to go through.)

EDIT2: Also unit list that I extracted from the Eboot.bin file.

Well I began translating the game before you posted these but it seems that some of the text is stored in Images files.
I won't release any patch of this because it's a bit hard to translate and there is not enough space for most words :/
And I think it's very easy to play you just have to know some Mecha knowledge :P

Pointer hacking is the second step after founding text in every project.

0103: Why do people ROM hack?

The prominent (and only valid) reason is because they enjoy it. Yes,
they want to see the game they're hacking playable in English. Yes,
some of them like the attention they get from working on a high level
project. But if you don't enjoy facing and overcoming the challenges
involved in ROM hacking, you're never going to successfully complete
    a project.

And what are you trying to imply there?

I said I tried to translate it, I never said I am going to begin translating this game.

That I haven't seen you trying. Such a simple thinks as a textlimit (yes this is the basics of Romhacking) is easy to overcome if you want to.

If you can do things right why just give up beforehand? Knowledge is not a bad thing you know... Never too late and never hurts to gain as much of it as possible.

The game is extremely easy and I don't see the point of translating it just like Gundam Memories that xhai is trying to translate.
Also there is a huge chance of localizing it because there is a lot of English text inside the EBOOT.BIN file :)

oh come on..... not this again.....

Guys, it's just a simple patch. It's not for the fame or for "Localizing it" or anything. I was interested in making it easier to play for some bros and helping some people figure out what unit is from what series. That's all I really cared about.
I ain't interested in the story or anything like that.

EDIT: Hrm.... also it appears you MUST patch it for the CFW in order to view the data contained in the Eboot.bin. Oh well. I doubt I'll do much more if I can't get it to display some changes today.

    Edit2: Translated list of units.
    Warning: Spoilers inside!

Edit3: Neat. By using the patched eboot on a clean ISO I was able to make just a few changes. This'll probably just be a quick and nasty unit/attack translation at most. Unless someone else wants to work on it.

(Also yes I realize the over running text on the description, yes I've fixed it.)

Gundam AGE, Danball Senki, and now this... CrashmanX, always translating my favorite PSP games. Even putting Danball Senki on hold because you know I've already beaten it, and know I'm prioritizing this new game now, don't you?

I really do appreciate your work, and I'm really excited for just a simple unit name and attacks translation for Battle Robot Damashii.

It's what I do. I aim to give the Mecha some love that it's been desperately missing.

Curious question, the Saving part, was that stored in the Eboot.bin or else where? I've just been screwing around with attack/unit names for now.
