the o3ds battery percentage DOES NOT match the indicator. when i was looking a the percentage on hshop itonly went down to threebars at 50% or smth. it aslo feels (yes i feel it) that the first bar is the longest. is this a software issue or smth?

is there any way to fix it like a homebrew or smth
100% down to 60% → four bars
59% down to 30% → three bars
29% down to 11% → two bars
10% to to 5% → one bar, power LED turns red
<5% → one bar, power and notification LED flash red

Why? Ask Nintendo.

Not really "a homebrew", but programs like the official launcher ask the kernel for the battery level and get back a number corresponding to the values listed above;
we also have the knowledge to sign our own kernels (sighax) and/or CFWs that allow loading custom kernels/drivers, which together means:
Yes - if you care enough to disassemble the appropriate part of the kernel, you can find the logic that converts from whatever-most-direct-source to the step levels and change it
