Batman: Return of the Joker on NesterJ is bugged

Hello there!
I have PSP Go, Infinity 2.0, 6.61, LME.

Also got the latest NesterJ emulator, version AoEX R3.

I played Batman: Return of the Joker on this emu, got to stage 3-2 and the second half of it didn't seem right. (Check the video at the bottom).
Normally spikes move way slover and platforms are visible but in this emulator only fast moving spikes are visible deeming this game unplayable on PSP.
Maybe this can be fixed somehow (changing some settings in emu or patching a ROM)?

Maybe there's a better NES emulator? This game runs fine on Nintendo DS emulator, why would NesterJ be so broken?

Try this other emulator, maybe you will have better luck. FCEU is definitely one of the best NES emulators on PC, but unfortunately the PSP version is very old, and should be recompiled with newer source code.

On PSP this emulator is not good. It doesn't have any settings and save states doesn't work. Also palette is one of the worst I've seen.
Didn't bother to get to this level.

Tried also Retroarch - FCEUmm core is the only one that works and also shows level 3-2 correctly, but the speed and audio crackling makes game not pleasant to play.

I guess this game just won't be playable on PSP.

Might work on Retroarch. You have some nes cores there (fceumm,nestopia,quicknes maybe more)

Take a look at this, these have better NES emulator cores than NesterJ.

The NES cores included on RA PSP are FCEUmm, Nestopia, QuickNES.

Sadly it doesn't work with PSP Go. No sound, not scaled screen and no setting saving.

Yes, but the problem is that for years the only core that works FCEUmm.
I don't quite understand why they even include Nestopia and QuickNES, if they are not working. Didn't work in 2020, don't work till this day.
