sorry man, your information is false.

    bannerbomb
    pick a version:
    v1 - compatible with Wii Menu version 3.0 - 4.1
v2 - compatible with Wii Menu version 4.2 (only)

you must be talking about 3.2 and 3.1

If people say it works, then it works. Comex probably didn't bother testing on those firmwares since hardly anyone has those.

In similar fashion, the 4.2 "only" version of BannerBomb works on 4.1; I've done it myself. But it's easier to keep things as they are for organizational purposes.

in that case, then maybe it will work, but dont expect success.

How about, the OP gives it a try and finds out for themselves.

Then he/she can report back and confirm...

An OP to you may not be what an OP is to me.

No need to what. Confirm it works? Or, try it for themselves?

Well, having more than one confirmation is good to hear. Also, there are too many people not trying things for themselves. Wanna know how most people get things working?

    With trying!

And, I never called you a liar.

...Not in the least. All he's saying is that the first poster should try it out himself instead of asking more questions.

It means original poster. I don't even know what an "operator" would be in this case.
