Hacking Banner Questions

Hi, sorry if these questions have already been asked. I have a few questions about banners for wii channels.

1. Why is there always a thick black line between the buttons and the picture if you make a static channel, and is there any way to get rid of it? (like in this video)
2. Is there any way to convert a short video or animated gif image into a banner, I've seen videos of it being done, but they could have been fake.
3. Are there any easy ways to make your own banner animations, instead of just replacing images from other animations?

Oh, and one more thing, what happened to the wadder site and forums?

1) the black line is part of the system menu i believe or the background is to high

2) this is real on the old wadder site there is a channel that can have a 15 frame anim in the banner but we at the wii theme team has a 96 frame banner that we haven't released

3)to make a full channel yourself you need benzin to write the brlyts and brlans

4) wadder was shut down by Xuzz but some of us wasn't ready to let it go and made this site new wadder
