It may be a stupid question, but the roms have an "universal" ID even if it is trimmed and renamed? If so, we have a possibility to create a cover database and a progam that auto serach for the covers, just like we have on USB Launcher for the wii... (but for DS I think is better do a "cover seacher" for PC and not for the system itself...)

too bad this is not for the Acekard 2i

Well done.
But there is something i wan't to request. The Hide Option is not so good. Not all Folders have a starting _ so they won't be hidden. Can't you add the option to read the file attributes? Most of my folders/files are hidden with Windows/DSOrganize so they won't show up in most Applications. I would be great to have that in BagPlug too.

Edit: And can you make a separate bagplug.nds that can be used to load BagPlug from Moonshell or DSOrganize? I know the first release of iMenus dstwo.nds redirects just to imenu.plg. The new dstwo.nds is the Bootloader and it's kinda anoying to reset my DS all the Times.

For the hidden folder suggestion. Currently the Supercard DSTwo sdk does not support that attribute and would need to be added manually. So it may or may not be added.

For your second question, just copy the DSTwo.nds and rename it what ever you like. As long as the boot.ini file is in the _dstwo folder it will boot bagplug.

I may release a quick fix to support that. Initially I was just creating a system that would work for all files and hadn't thought about using the internal names for images.

Very good man!
In this times i wish that i have a supercard

I will really thank you, if you do one for Wood R4

Anyway, keep up the good work

I'd love to try it, but my card readers are dead right now. Ordered a new one yesterday, but it'll get here only by next week. ò.ó

NdsCRC and RToolDS. They download covers and screenshots of your games from their database, however you'd have to put the images in your microSD for yourself.

Updated to release 2 - 1 which uses nds game id's for box art files. Just wanted to get this update out early to prevent people from spending a lot of time renaming all their roms/images.

Thanks for the attribute information.
If i use the dstwo.nds it would load the default app and don't hate me for that but i don't want to use BagPlug as default. I'm sorry. But it's not that problem at all, it was just a thing i want to ask for.

Release 2 - 2 out:
-fixed a small memory leak
-added the option to display internal nds file names
-fixed division by 0 error when in favorites menu with exactly 15 favorites
-fixed cursor flickering issue

Yes, please someone upload a nice coverpack....

Also, what did the OP mean by it now gets the boxart from the ID??? How does it do this? What do I need to change?

The menu will read the nds header (commercial roms only) for the game ID which is a series of 4 characters, and use those 4 characters to find the cover art rather than the rom file name. This makes it so that only one database of covers would be needed for all rom files regardless of their file names.

You'll have to find a list of all the game id's or use a cheat editor to view them. Or you can check this out http://gbatemp.net/t50274-how-to-go-about-...mp;#entry643166

In other news, release 2 - 3 is out, and hopefully it'll be the last to make it stable for now.

Release 2 - 3
-fixed freezing when accessing an empty favorites list
-favorites menu now ignores blank lines in the favorites.txt
-fixed glitch with music playing and the file options menu
-fixed issue with internal nds names while listening to music
-fixed a bug where the stylus couldn't select bottom half of files in directories with few files/folders
-can now use left and right on the d-pad to select cpu frequency in options
-fixed a bug in shortening names with more than one '.'

First post contains the updated download.

Can we use DSCovered covers?

I tried this with the first version of the second release, because i actually use DSCovered as default system and i was to lazy to search for new covers and resize them. But the image i tried was totally messed up. Besides, the DSCovered covers have this pink bar at the top/bottom.

anyone have a custom background? the default one isn't exactly my cup of tea

i'm looking for decent moonshell wallpapers to use with BAGPlug, but i can't find any good ones either.

ipod and iphone backgrounds work great. They are already the same aspect ratio so all they need is a re-size and then are good to go.

awesome, thanks.
oh yeah, the option to show the internal game name works, however it literally displays the internal name - not the name displayed when you insert the legitimate cartridge.

for example for the game 999, rather than displaying
Nine Hours, Nine Persons,
Nine Doors
Aksys Games

it displays
999HRPERDOOR

i don't mean to nitpick, but was this intentional?
