Hacking Badge Arcade Cheating with Gateway

Are you running Gateway Ultra 3.6.2, CFW or something else?

I tried it on 3.6.2 and 3.6.1 on my o3ds and o3ds xl both freeze after the bar fills up.

Wonder if someone can make a cheat.plg version for use with NTR-CFW, since it's (somewhat) acessible with the current downgrade+emunand methods...

I'm having the same problem it keeps freezing after I search. Don't know how to fix it

are you using ULTRA 3.6.2 or ULTRA 3.6.1 ?

For any cheats to work, you need to have at least one play. You can get a free one from the training grabber and then cheat for the rest.

The training grabber didnt gave me anything... Any trick to reset it?
(If i can reset my save,i will do it.)

Use my training grabber cheats (they should work if you're on an EUR O3DS) and you can get infinite grabs on that. With those grabs, clear the machine a few times and you should get some real grabs. You can't reset it as far as I know, you'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Erasing any extra data from System config will work?

just tried with pokemon shuffle with new gateway 3.6.2 and can change the remaining move from every battle with no freeze , but maybe this game is different.

i think that will delete your enter save game for the arcade badge.

I have tried the tutorial and when I choose decrement, it says "Too many hits, keep hunting". Can somebody tell me why is this happening?

Just keep playing -> get the number to change -> search for the new value. do this a couple more times and you should be good.

No you don't need any other file.
And the answer is in your question
There are to many hits to display, just keep hunting.
Just do another play, choose decrement again and then you should find some usefully data.

I just tweaked my previous code for o3DS a bit. My previous code let the counter stay on 99+ because I created an endless loop .
Unfortunately, to claim the caught badges, the counter must reach 0. (I thought you could always exit when you want, but you can't)

They are for EU o3DS(xl).
I don't own an US 3DS.
If I had one I made the cheats with pleasure.

Here's the answer to your question:

For US players:
You can do this yourself as well

0. Get at least 2 free plays.
1. Go to the real catcher. Before playing go to cheat menu and choose to find a new 8-bit one.
2. Enter the number of the currently free plays
3. Close cheat menu and try to catch a badge (play one game)
4a. Open the cheat menu and search next value. Choose decrease
4b. Go to search results. there should be 2 items. Select the first than the second.
5. Change the number where the cursor is already on (probably 01) to an number you like (probably FF witch is 256)
6. Enjoy your as good as infinitive plays

To refine the search result, try to get 3 free plays and repeat 4a again between play 1 & 2 and 2 & 3!

Get as many free plays you could.
If 'keep hunting' appears, just repeat step 4a again between another play.
