Hacking "Bad Jump" in GBA emulator and now cheats don't work.

I put GBATEMP in my psp game folder, and added an action replay code to cause a Mudkip to spawn in Pokemon Emerald. Unfortunately, this caused a Bad Jump, the game crashed, etc. Unfortunately, I now am unable to get any codes to work whatsoever. It shows up on the menu, I set it to ON, but it doesn't function. Did the Bad Jump remove that ability? What can I do to fix this?

A bad cheat might cause a corrupt save and might cause that particular run of the game to crash. Should not remove the option to cheat from subsequent boots though.

Are you sure that code goes along with the version of the game (which is to say region) you are using?

US, as far as I can tell. It kinda worked the first time, made the mudkip spawn, though my name icon was a little distorted. Currently though, no luck with any of them. It registers the cheat in the menu, but will not spawn the critter.

Hi! More than one year after your post. Did you get any solution? Im having the same issue when adding a "Wild Pokemon Modifier" Action Replay Cheat, as Torchic/Mudkip. I need help! Im using the TempGBA4PSP emulator for PSP.
