ROM Hack backup save from legit diamond

Could someone tell me how to backup my save so I can use it to change my position in pokemon diamond because I used the darkrai glitch and now I'm stuck in the black area.
So I need a way to backup the sav then edit with pokesav and then send it back is there a way to do this?
