Hacking Backup Launcher by Wiigator

So i installed THC and the current wiigator release and everything went great

loaded the CIOS and that installed great

sadly, i can load any games, they all seem to start loading but during the initial load i get the "please eject disc and check your manual" error

I've burned with every type of media i can find (memorex, maxwell, TDK, verbatim) at 2x and have nothing but coasters to show for it. These are all direct iso's (not dumped) and im curious if im just doing something wrong or missing a setting and being a noob. (i am making sure the booktype is correct, the wii wouldnt get this far without changing that)

what game are you using and have you tried a DVD-r ?
are you sure you installed everything correctly ?

Some games do not load with the 0.3b loader and you get a message about remove the disc turn your wii off etc. Are the games you tried listed as working in the 0.3b compatibility thread/wiki?

what game are you using and have you tried a DVD-r ?

Ive been trying mainly with SW:TFU, but have also done some test with Naruto 2

when i hit the home key from the loader i get beta 9 IOS36 and i do believe i installed correctly

other than the memorex discs, i have used only dvd-r's


I have the most current patch on my wii but that isnt supposed to matter(at least thats what ive been made to understand)
 
SW:TFU is one of the games i mentioned. For this you have to wait for the gamma or you need the slow as hell 0.1 loader. You get get both working at the same time, take a look at my sig.

when i hit the home key from the loader i get beta 9 IOS36 and i do believe i installed correctly

burn faster at 6x i burn

You did not make an online update, didn't you? The newest firmware update DOES matter!

makes sense, ill try working some out with naruto. I appreciate all the response from you guys.


I thought i saw star wars as working on list, or like partially working, i could be wrong

something may be wrong as naruto 2 does work on .3
