Hacking Backup Launcher by Wiigator

Has anyone made a good channel yet for this? The one with a Wii with wings is kind of stupid and the one on the 1st post now isn't relevant with anything (it's just a bunch of video game characters messily thrown on a screen). I want a nice, professional looking channel done for this. Ocarina has one, now it's time for this.

Make your own if you're just going to bitch about what everyone else makes.

Interesting: I uninstall the cIOS just to see what happens, and obvious, the launcher doesn't even start, then I install it again and play for a while SSBB (Original copy 45 bucks on Wal-Mart) and before turn off my Wii, launch the game thru the Backup Launcher and it runs like if you open the disc chnnel, isn't the launcher supouse (I know it's not right spell it) to run 3X???
Maybe is the patition tool the one that needs a new update not the launcher, I'm not a coder or anything near like it, so i'm just guessing like the ass that I am

I'm not bitching about the channels that are out now. I just think that this is great, well made software. It needs a professionally done channel that doesn't say "backup loader" when you open it up. I'm not the only one who thinks this. And I would try and make one, but I don't want to risk bricking my Wii (which with my luck will happen!)

Ya I came across a unpatchable file. The Copy of Lego Batman I downloaded will not patch at all. Everything else will, but not that. I am clueless on why it will not work.

Your original SSBB uses 6x speed, because the references in the game aren't changed to the adress of the custom DIP-Module, so it just uses the standart-engine.

That would be my explanation.

Arent you a master of brushing people up the right way before you ask them to do something for you.
I would recommend you dont do any activities that would put you life in anyone else hands with that mastery of the subtle yet slick commentry.

Your best bet now is to keep your mouth shut and hope that someone else doesnt see ur comments and happens to be bored on a sunday morning and makes up another channel.

I've got an odd problem... I obtained Lego Batman, it worked fine, I played for a bit, saved and turned off. I resumed my game again later, saved and turned off. Now, when I try to resume a save, all I get is a black screen! Help?

the wii with wings it the best looking one. i have seen two versions of it. its better looking that evilwii's scarface and red backgrounds. i have yet to see wapinkoko (sp) as a channel

Well, IDK why it shouldnt say backup loader considering thats what the fucking channel is. To me it sounds like you need to do it yourself, as your not going to be happy with anything anyone else is going to make. Its not like it's that hard. Get a copy of the Tools folder and then Use MS Paint (or whatever you want) to make the Gfx for the channel. I have one I made myself, and didn't release it just because of people like you.

Making your own channels has its advantages (Just install Starfall first so your dumb ass doesn't brick when you fuck up)
1. Call the Channel whatever you want
2. Its personal to you, and you feel like you accomplished something
3. The GfX can be of whatever you want.
4. The music can be your favorite song (or boring elevator music - whatever makes you happy)
5. You don't have to wait on other people.
6. People wont think your a complete wanker for demanding shit and cutting other peoples work down like the 12 year old you probably are.

Yep, happens to me too randomly as I described in this thread which oddly got no activity. Just keep trying, it'll work again eventually.

Hey, they're not wings! It's the Wii sitting on a cloud with a halo - the scene is supposed to be angelic, like this backup launcher is the second coming or something. And why shouldn't it be called Backup Loader or Backup Launcher? The god damn program is called BACKUP LAUNCHER! Picky, demanding little...

First I get my iso renamed to in.iso and ran extractpartition which said I needed libeay32.dll, so I downloaded that from wiitools, and then i run extractpartition again and I get this error:

(running vista and tried multiple game iso's)
Kind of frustrating; I have the channel and everything set up waiting on the launch game screen but I cant burn any games until I decrypt them

Any advise would be most appreciated.

i want to do a channel for the loader that looks just like the normal disc channel except it has a gold cd instead of a silver one
but im on a guest account on this computer and i cant install ANYTHING no photoshop or even winrar! so i cant use any of the apps in the tutorial to do it myself
and i wont be back home on my own computer for another 3 weeks! is someone willing to help me out?

Fixed your URL. It thought the ) was part of it at first and thus led to a 404 on dA.

Well, I tried the tutorial. I installed the wad successly, but then I realised that there was left over music and icons from the original wad i used. I may try again another time but for now, you guys can use my image.
