Not necessarily. Some SMW ROM hacks take things further than the original game intended. There are some that use the SFX chip, and that certianly is not supported with blargSNES.

Simply put, don't expect ANY ROM hacks to work. If they work, then they work.

I mostly used Vanilla Hacks, or lighters hacks where only custom music and some ASM were added.
