Hey, I realized that Atmosphere 0.8.4 crashes (ofw 7.0.1) when installing titles that contains special characters in any of the string names. I’m using tinfoil 0.2.1. E.g: “Pokkén” can’t be installed but “Pokken” can without issues. Does this happen to anyone else?

You tried USB install with tinfoil 0.2.1 and fluffy. They fixed that issue. Also old tinfoil SD card is not working in 7.0

I run 7.0.1 so far so good for me.
 
Has someone else experienced black screen then "Software closed because an error has occurred" when opening multiple homebrew apps in the same session*?

*session: staying inside HBL without closing it from Switch menu
 
Or rather, not unless you bring your own 7.x keys. The whole purpose of sept is to not make either the keys or the exploit used to derive them public.

Just completely out of curiosity (don't want to annoy or stress you at all), how's work on emuNAND/Thermosphère progressing?
I don't want any ETAs (June 15th 2k20) but is it likely to happen soon™ or rather later? Is it even in the top 5 of your highest prio TO DOs?
I remember reading somewhere that you were facing a memory issue or something like that, that you couldn't get around with for now.

It's not that it's not a priority so much as thermosphere is so ridiculously memory constrained that working on it is kind of unpleasant -- I'm making progress on it slowly, but given I usually work on whatever's the most enjoyable to work on at any given time....

About the patched consoles, know is far throw as i read and understand is in standby till the new consoles are released, but the coldboot can run Atmosphere and all we need to have is patiance?

you can

you need to replace a few files here and there for it to work

reboot_payload.bin in atmosphere folder needs to be hekate
a few files in sept also
kosmos has this implemented, you could get it from them

The impression I get is that you're not one to shy away from a challenge, especially when it requires an extremely creative solution. Think about all those SXOS sales you would be taking directly away from TX. Would you not find that to be most enjoyable....? ;)

What's the best way to update?
I just copied the new folders from 0.8.4 on my SD card but my when I want to launch Atmos with Hekate it says "No main configuration found..."

I'm on fw 6.2 and Atmos was 0.8.3
