every one will update if it not out by smash so yeah its game over for switch hacking Nintendo has finally made a firmware thats impossible to hack how impressive of Nintendo. Just buy another device to emulate on and stop cheating in pokemon i guess.

Pokemon probably a next year title since new generations are revealed earlier then march and April to hype up the game there is also more new stuff in new generations compared to remakes and enhanced versions so more time is needed to show the trailers.

Hey, all:

I don't really think this is the thread to talk about exploit release schedules/TX stuff -- everyone who follows my advice on not updating will be able to use Atmosphere, in time -- my work is meant to be released. I think further discussion can be held in other threads.

Also, I'll be back to regular dev schedule very shortly -- the past week I've been highly preoccupied with some other, unrelated stuff, but that's finally winding down

Will 4.1.0 also be supported or only until 3.0.0?

4.1.0 will get support but first will come 1.0 after that 2x to 3x and , 4x will take time

Here is where you are wrong. I never gave the slightest of shit for smash bros games. If they came out when i was a teenager i would probably do, as local multiplayer was what i was mainly interested back then but now, any multiplayer, same room or not is just not interesting to me. Only thing i look forward really is Metroid and i could care less if it is out and i have to wait to play it, since my backlog is probably big enough to last me a few years time, both new and retro. Still have to play SMO for the same reason. Why buy it when new and expensive when i know i am going to play later? So, do not make assumptions. People can and will wait. Not everybody has many hours per day to drop in gaming, as much as i would like to.

Haven't updated since Xmas when I had to install my Splatoon 2 code. Now probably won't update for awhile. I can live on cartridge games, so long as Hyrule Warriors DE and/or Luigi's Mansion don't force an update.

Yeah, I derped. Still, HW DE is a must because while I love the content of the 3DS one, I also love the content of the Wii U that missed out (like Challenge Mode and Summoning Gate's models for mini-boss monsters).

I highly doubt that. The logo change, the extra characters, the fact that is hasn't been announced as "Smash Switch" like we have Smash Wii U and Smash 3DS.

Plus, if it was just a port we would have had more information on the reveal or would have received more information by now since it would be mostly the same content. The lack of information beyond release year and one/two new characters depending on implementation shows it's likely new.

Given the series' track record with ports (none unless you count the 3DS to Wii U), I highly doubt that it's a port; also, if it was, why not just come out and say it already?
