He never promised that it would be released in August, he only estimated that it would. Considering that most of September is still in the Summer, there's still plenty of time left for a Summer release.

Either 1st september, either 21-22 september (the former is from meteorologists, the latter, from astronomers). (there is a third way actually, but it can change a lot)

Each season has a period of 3 months:

June, July, August = Summer
September, October, November = Autumn

September is the Autumn season.

It's part of the Autumn season, yes, except it's not until September 22 when Autumn season actually starts. So more than half of the month is still partly Summer.

There 2 different ways to look at seasons. He is referring to the Meteorological summer while you are referring Astronomical summer. So you can't say he is wrong though.

Well, according to the Irish Calendar, summer begins on May 1st and ends on August 1st. So you could also say we're both wrong. :^)

haha, and why are we arguing about summer anyway? Let's just wait and see if Atmosphere can be released soon... I actually don't care that much because my switch is iPatched and am waiting for Deja vu release.
