Atmosphere Error Code: 2162-0002 (0x4a2), Program 010000000000100C error, Firmware 16.0.3

A few nights ago I had this error occur after a crash when trying to start retroarch. Initially I thought that was the problem I was having so I deleted the respective retroarch files off my SD card, but I still had that problem occur.

Doing some more research I found this folder name in atmosphere/contents, but it did not have a C at the end of it, and removing it from my SD card still gave me an error when booting into cfw. Afterwards, I ran chkdsk command, in case there was something wrong with my actual SD card, as well as selected the "Fix Archive BIt" option in Hekate but neither of those reported any problems with the SD card. Hekate's own SD card monitoring tool doesn't report any read/write problems and I can still access it once I insert it into my computer. Most recently, I have used Captain's prepack, renaming my atmosphere, bootloader and switch folders to old_foldername and I still get the same error code.

As it stands I'm not sure what else I can do outside setting up a new emunand setup but I am concerned about my saves. Would all I have to do is make a copy of the nintendo folder and place it back once I have everything setup on the remade sd card? Or is my save data gone and all I have are the saves I may have made with checkpoint or jksv?

Hey, I followed this guide - suchmeme manyskill. github. io/ guides/switchextractsaves/ and after using the .bat script it seems like I was able to get my saves extracted. I'm not sure how to re insert them though. I'm also a little scared to do a clean wipe of the sd card and make a new emunand partition in case I did something wrong.

What format is your sd card Fat32 or Exfat?

If it's ExFat you're likely having corruption caused by an issue with the Switch's handling of homebrew with that format and you need to convert to Fat32.

if you are not on Atmosphère 1.6.2 UPGRADE IT, THEN:

Remove your overlays and tesla files, when every thing goes to work normally use the latest tesla and overlays and install one by one:

Remove your overlays and tesla files, when every thing goes to work normally use the latest tesla and overlays and install one by one:

Are you using Retroarch in applet mode?I know it gives errors in applet mode.

you should have tesla because the 010000000000100C program is the overlays

test, with your console off or on NYX UMS, backing up and removing the SDMC:/atmosphere/contents folder, then copy the sigpatches and SYS-Patch sysmodule AND NOTHING MORE then turn on your console and test again.

you could use a prepacked package with that files,, check your SD Card and:

i lost time doing that and same error and i dont have nothing more no tesla no nothing
