atmosphere dies while booting

i've been trying to revive a switch with a dead eMMC chip for a while, got it working with a replacement but when i update the firmware to play rhythm heaven i get this error, i've been banging my head over it for a while with no success. hope this pic helps since i'm a total noob at this

First of all, get a clean installation without any overlays or system modules.
Those can throw almost every kind of error at you when they crash.
Overlays and sys modules need to be updated as well when updating the firmware.

It can also be hardware.
Then it will be really hard to figure out what is causing it.
0100000000000016 is the module for the WLAN and Bluetooth chip but
someone on Reddit mentioned a failing M92T36 chip that cause this exact error.

You can check Hekate to see if the battery information looks normal.
If it does, you can exclude the M92T36.

If you had a dead eMMC, maybe it was cause by the PCB getting too hot.
Maybe it also warped a bit under the wifi chip.
Sometimes it detaches itself from the motherboard after a while.
Skilled repair people can reball it.

I'll try looking for damage on the board then. it's been driving me nuts since firmware 20.5 works perfectly
