Portal 2 peer review got a proper scene release- some sites nuked it for being free but not everybody has the channels to do it so you will probably still be able to find it.

Region free by the looks of things
The demo hit a few weeks back and showcased a few boss fights (although the whole game might be along those lines)- QTE heavy and minor shooting mechanics (calls of Rez, Gun Valkyrie and Panzer Dragoon were made). However it did look like it had a nice story (tone wise for me it was somewhere between Bayonetta, Nier and god of war) so it might be worth a quick spin if you are waiting for Dragon's Dogma or Ninja Gaiden 3.

Story
Long ago in the realm of Shinkoku, eight deities known as "The Eight Guardian Generals" battled to protect civilization from a destructive force known only as Gohma. Asura was one of the most prominent of this group. During the victory celebration, the Emperor of Shinkoku was assassinated in a sinister plot and the blame was placed on Asura. In the middle of the commotion, Asura's wife was also murdered and his daughter kidnapped. With even his brother-in-law and rival Yasha turning against him, Asura was banished from Shinkoku. Awoken by a voice after 12,000 years, Asura vows revenge on all those who have betrayed him.
