Power Stone? That's a bitch of a stretch.

Power Stone was a third person, top down (ish) fighting game whereas ARMS is behind the shoulder TPS.
Yes, the same feeling, regarding a varied 3D arena where height and obstacles can be used as part of the gameplay.
If you want me to really stretch it I can say that it gives me a feeling of Destrega, but I think most people didn't like (or even know) that game as much as I did.

Never heard of that game before but it somehow reminded me of Psychic Force it was on PS1 and Dreamcast though I never tried the DC version, IIRC.

Still waiting for the day that Capcom makes "Power Stone 3" but guess that's unlikely to happen, considering they don't even bother with other classic franchises left for dead.

By the way, tried to get ARMS for £24.99 by opening a credit account on Very though it rejected me every time for weird reasons. Well, ain't gonna buy the game at full retail price either then.

Getting more convinced after watching a few videos of IGN and GameXplain's thoughts of the preview on YouTube, also the TestPunch ingame photos on the eShop look gorgeous on the handheld.

This looks to be the first true Switch title taking advantage of the hardware, sure it runs in 900p in docked mode and split screen docked but the fine details in the graphics looks extremely good.

If you look at the TestPunch ingame photos of the character selection screen, it's very predictable that the game is going to have 14 characters total (4 being DLC after launch but I could be wrong) since 14 characters fits perfectly on the character selection screen without expending to another row.

Right now all the stands in the way of a sure buy (probably not launch though) is how the game controls in handheld mode (I don't think it's going to be crippled like holding the Joy Cons sideways), how the TestPunch plays (offline and online) and ultimately how the game reviews on Metacritic.

Actually yeah, how is this game played in portable? It's not going to be easy or even feasible to do the motion controls sitting on the bus.
I suspect Arms requires a reliable internet connection. try velcro though.

when is the testfire again ? (or testPUNCH xD)

from watching the video trailers , i am not too convinced, i want to actually play and see how it plays first ,before i decide on whether i will be getting it or not.

i do not mind splatoon, i have played some of it on the wii u, it sadly never clicked for me.
so i ain't buying splatoon2.

maybe i will get this game, i will play it first.
it does look interesting, and the multiplayer especially.
