As with the remake of Armored Core 3, there are a few parts from pre-existing Armored Core series but I stumbled on this terrifying weapon. All people who have played Armored Core 2 or Another Age will know or have relied on this weapon in the past.

Karasawa%20MK%20II.PNG

The Karasawa MK-2, the strongest laser rifle in AC2 not to mention the most efficient in any AC series. It has 10 less shots but still has it's other ferocious stats and it's weight remain the same which the weight isn't so bad for the "Hand of God" with the AC3 variant being too heavy. Aside of this godly weapon, there are over 20 other parts from other Armored Core series that will make an appearance in this game. *hopes for an energy machine gun*.

Release Date is 11/19/09 for those not in the know and since 3 will be localized, this will also be localized for the US.

Don't know about this weapon or much of AC (I've only played Silent Line and Nexus), but if this weapon is as godly as you say it is, it must be pretty damn.. GODly. ._.

Karasawa MK-2 kills anything by itself

Reasons

-Rapid Fire (Reload time is too low at 50 and is lower with optional parts, this ensures a quick kill)
-Low Weight for it's Attack Power and Ammo (15-18 shots kill 1 Decently Armored AC or 10 shots for a lightweight and you still have ammo to mop up MTs depending on what kind they're are, Facing a massive MT with just this weapon makes things too easy and those problematic Unknown white mechs would be easy with just the Karasawa alone)
-Accuracy is very High (even if you miss, it's a good chance you will hit with the next shot
-Range is decent
-Low drain for an energy weapon
-It looks cool on any type of AC.

Holy.shit. And this weapon is in Silent Line? o.o

100% confirmed and not a thing has changed on it except the ammo which still makes it too good and was only lowered in an failed attempt to keep it from competing with the MWG-Karasawa which means this is From's greatest failure in balancing weapons.
