Hacking arm7 patch

i am the guy who is having trouble saving it will never save. Will the arm7 patch fix this? Bear in mind, i can't even change the skin of the wood r4 start screen because it won't save even that.

No, if your MicroSD can't be written to, changing part of software on it won't work.

It's an issue with your flash cart or MicroSD. One of them is fucked (or the MicroSD is read-only).

sometimes when i start up my ds with the r4 in it will just go to the normal ds start screen (picto chat/ds download play) is this a sign that it has problems or does this happen to all cards?

Also, i've looked everywhere i can't figure out how to get a microsd out of read-only. Do you know how?

You need to put the MicroSD into an SD adapter for it, and then flip the switch once, then back to the off position.

Like that, it's a MicroSD, and you can see the adapter and the switch it has.
If your MicroSD didn't come with an adapter, you may just need another one.

I've never used that shop.

The switch on the adapter is only for the adapter, micro-sd has one less contact than sd, and the extra one on the adapter is for write protection.

MicroSD doesn't have writelock, these things can be happening:
1. Damaged filesystem, reformat
2. Bad flashcart, replace
3. Bad MicroSD, replace

Ah, didn't know MicroSDs wouldn't retain write protection after being taken out.

Then yeah something's dead/dying.
