The 3DS has a bunch of "Legit" titles that are universally signed so they can be installed on any system without signature patching.
Is there anything similar for the Wii U?

I don't believe so. (As far as we know) But why don't you just use Loadiine? The games are extracted to the sd card. Just go to the DDD thread, it should have everything you need to know.

He mosy likely wants to install them using Wup Installer. I dont think there are any legit titles though.

I don't know much about WUP Installer, but as far as I'm aware, it only works for system titles, irrc.
As far as i know it only works for system titles because of the whitelist.
It should work with free stuff too, but i can't give any guarantee

I do use Loadiine but thought it was a shame that the 32GB internal storage on the Wii U is just going to waste.

Thought maybe there was some universally signed games that came bundled with systems that could be installed like how FBI and other apps do it on the 3DS.

:)

I got an idea.... Support the developers. :D

EDIT: Of course, not trying to tell you what to do, or anything like that. Just putting it out there.

if wup installer lets you install system titles (basically a legit cia) - i see no reason why it it won't let you install a game that is legit either.
but sure, you just have to make it.

Yes,it may be possible that there are legit titles for the Wii U, because mine came with Super Mario 3D World pre-installed. But like lefthandsword said, we wont be able to obtain the ticket without IOSU access.

All the games I use in Loadiine I've purchased a copy. I just prefer to keep the discs packed away for safe keeping. Nintendo gets my money, don't worry :)
