I was wondering if there was any way to edit .tickflow files for Rhythm Heaven Megamix other than using a notepad program because brain too small to understand it

Not that I've seen, but there are a number of syntax highlighters. Are you using one of those? They will help with brain comprehension immensely.

I am using a thing for Sublime Text that changes colors of characters based on what they mean, is that a syntax highlighter?

yep, that's a syntax highlighter. Unfortunately afaik that's the best you're going to get.

I don't mean to necrobump, but if I were to learn a coding language like C++ or AGK, would I theoretically or practically be able to make a graphical tickflow editor?

if you learn to program, you can make anything you want. (: short answer, yes, totally possible. As a starting language, I'd probably recommend C# and WPF over C++ but check the pinned thread on programming languages for more info.

(note: C# is my primary language so I am a bit biased)
