ROM Hack SaveHexEdit to complete Bravely Default "Net Friends Invite" quest?

hello all,

playing through bravely default and haven't been able to find a way to complete the 'Net Friends Invite' tutorial quest now that the servers are down. i've seen suggestions to use other save files, but wondering if anyone might know which hex edits need to be made to complete this quest on any save file?

Literally almost a year since a reply eh? In any case, I found something, and reposting it here for posterity.

It did work!!! Thanks man! I used Checkpoint to do a backup and a editable file and used the Hex Editor following this offset x0330 at column 3 which is x0332 and did put the value of 05 as you said and it worked! Thanks.
