I read on this board that they can be hacked with ChickHEN but only untill you turn it off. My psp is 3001. So would it be realistic to hack it then just keep it in the charger, never turning it off?

Personally i wouldn't do that....i'd allow the RAM to get cleared every week or so by a full shut down. Of course you don't say what firmware you're on either so unless you're on 5.03 or below you can't get ChickHEN running anyway.
