"The iPod touch outsells Nintendo and Sony portables combined! It's got over 50% marketshare for portable gaming worldwide. And over a billion and a half games and entertainment downloads have been made just for the iPod touch alone."
LOLNO
I agree. Its completely ridiculous to count the iPod Touch (a platform which to begin with, didn't have third party apps, and was like that for about a year IIRC) as a games console. Sure there are a few games on it; but there are very few "proper" games on it. The games on it are the sort designed to kill ten minutes on the bus while you listen to music or whatever. I'd also hazard a guess that a pretty large majority of the users of iPod Touches are NOT "gamers" and didn't buy the "console" for the games, but bought it for a fashionable music and video player, with a very nice UI, and apps are a nice bonus with that. Also, it should be noted that your typical Apple "fanboy" will buy every revision of the iPod Touch (or at least a couple), while most users of the original DS probably
didn't upgrade to the DS Lite, and most users of the DS Lite probably
didn't upgrade to the DSi. And most PSP users probably
didn't upgrade at any point. Of course, there are exceptions to all these assumptions, but I'd say they mostly hold true.

iPod Nano is now officially useless. A tiny touchscreen?! Really? Its not practical. Sure I reckon your UI is very usable Apple but its not gonna be practical for scrolling through albums (due to the small size of the screen). You've had to enlarge the fonts etc. to make it usable meaning there's a lot less room on the screen for anything else. This is by far the worst looking Apple product I have ever seen.
