unlike the companies apple sues, apple actually settles and pays. and it's not their own medicine. apple has been wildly slapped with lawsuits since before they got popular hence they are very aggressive now.

at least they don't go and claim no wrong doing and call what they did "competing" like samsung would.

Who the hell puts a circle at the end of a second hand? Seriously Apple has no original ideas left, they have to blatantly rip off other designs without even changing one thing!

So why do we want to punish Apple? For making really good products that people want to buy. Would it make you happy if Apple made poor products that no one wanted?
You are an idiot.....Apple's "prodcuts" are no better than the vast majority of other electronics manufacturers products. All the hardware is made in the same factories as companies like Dell, HP, Gateway, Nintendo and several other electronics companies.

Pretty much what ShadowSoldier said - we'd like Apple to calm their titties down and let other players on the market compete rather than sue them for using such blatant copyright infringing ideas like "black rectangle" or "icons".

While some points in the Samsung vs. Apple case were valid, others were complete bullsh*t on a stick, no matter how you look at it.

Ah, sorry, I didn't read it fully.

But $21 million is a drop in the bucket to them compared to the profits they're banking off the iPhone that shipped with it. So really this is sadly not as much of a punishment as we'd want.

For Apple, it will only take 1-2 days to regain that back, if not sooner. To Apple, $21 million is as much of a loss as a $1 tip is to the average person.

They waved Swiss Rail off with a paltry $21 million. Apple is worth about $508 billion. That amounts to 0.004% of their entire net worth--four thousandths of one percent. If a beggar on the street asked you for money and you had $10,000 in a briefcase, it would be like giving him 4 cents and telling him to fuck off on his merry little way.

Apple didn't even notice that it lost $21 million.
Basically kiddies, this is Apple not giving a single fuck.

*puts Linux Ubuntu on his computers hard disk* You see! Linux rules over Apple and Microsoft MASHED TOGETHER! I know, may be using a Windows 7 laptop right now but, Linux BEATS my beast in speed. As for Apple, you deserved it!

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
