Homebrew App store not working?

So as the title says, i download the appstore for the wii u and placed them in the correct folders.
When i open the HBL, then the appstore, it sends me back to the HBL.

Whats going on?

Are you opening the Homebrew Launcher directly from the Wii U Menu? If so, that's the problem - there's a bug in versions 2.0 and later of the Homebrew Launcher that prevents homebrew in a certain format from launching.

Use the Homebrew Launcher v1.4 from the web browser exploit or Haxchi instead.

The appstore eorks, however it's a bit outdated, some apps such as Ftpiiu or HidToVpad are not in their latest versions. I would download apps manually.
