there ya go

eboot and .iso games run quick and flawless. getting a dual micro sd card thingy comming of e-bay and a few other sources soon. already have a bunch od micro sd cards for the ds to try out.

That is an AWFUL stick. You can try formatting and repopulating it but if that doesn't do any good get a different one. I'll dig my 4GB plot out and post it tomorrow if you want for a comparison.

is it really defective though, quick search on google and it's showing around the same speeds.

just tryed to copy a file to the orginal 32mb memory stick and it was half the speed as the scandisk i have.

That read speed is about a quarter of what it should be. Here's one i just found on Maxconsole -

well was planning on getting a larger stick anyway. will use this card now i guess until i gets a larger one, then keep this stick for movies, emulators or something.

well i guess this solved my problems, thanks a bunch.,

any ideas on a good place to buy a card.

not to expensive, have to ship to canada, no credit card.

First thing you want to do is to check the result once you've formatted the stick in the PSP. See if it changes.

ok i'm pretty sure the stick is a bad one. damm u staples.ca. them dual micro sd cards to memory stick pro dua adapters are they the same speed as the micro sd cards? and anyone have any luck with them. i got a few comming, white ones and black one and from different sources. to try out.

Here's mine, just for comparison (using an 8GB Sandisk, green one):

lol i went to staples and made an exchange and still the same o speeds. 3 for writing and 4.5 for reading. Stuck with this card i guess for now. Iso loads perfect, psx eboot are a lil slow loading at first.

also tested the card in my laptop and a usb card reader and still same speeds.

lol csos have been known to be notoriously slow for ex burnout legends in cso form take a while to load any ways what version of sandisk do you have normal, ultra, extreme

just the normal one i guess
that exploains your speed any how cso files are nearly always slower then there iso counter parts due to the compressing of files in the game any ways just turn on ms speed up in the recovery menu and see if it helps

i'd say i done all i could with this card. even ran speed test from my laptops card reader. I'm stuck with this until i gets my dual micro sd memory stick.

dude it's not recomended to get the dual microsd to memory stick adapter it is a gamble when you get one at time they work at times they don't or they never work at all just keep that one until u buy a bigger one and make sure you at least buy the ultra II or the extreme series they are much better
