I grew impatient waiting for DealExtreme to ship 2xSupercard DS One. So I purchased my 3rd Supercard DS one at RealHotstuff.
Anyone ever tried RealHotStuff? I read reviews on them they seem to be alright being that that ship from New Jersey!!!

Oh Yea
I might have a Supercard DS One for sale. I live in nyc. I prefer person to person sales. We can meet anywhere lol.

They're a reputable seller, don't worry. Check the SCDev "RealHotStuff" forum if you want an idea of how RHS interacts with its customers.

yeah they ship very fast. the only problem i can think of is they're not as cheap as dealextreme, but you do get a 3 month warranty.

RealHotStuff is the only seller I trust and buy from because, quite frankly, they never fail.

Very reliable sellers!

(I think you can even get a discount code for RHS purchases if you poke around SCdev.org for one.)

The code is SAVE5 for 5% off. I just ordered from them over the weekend as well. They informed me that my order won't ship until friday though due to low stock. But I'm not sweating it, I've ordered from these guys last year and can also say that they are reliable.

I bought mine from them back in January of this year. Beginning of July the card failed with PSRAM errors. I emailed and asked if there was anyway they could replace it since it was a known issue back when I bought it. They had no problem exchanging it as long as I paid for the shipping (which came to about $8 both ways). Had my replacement about 3 days after they received the return

I ordered 2 of them from RealHotStuff on Wed, Jul 30, 2008 at 7:30 PM EST (US).

I paid $8.68 for 3 day shipping for both of them.

I was notified Thu Jul 31, 2008 at 8:19 AM that the product shipped from New Jersey.

They were delivered, in Florida, Fri, Aug 1, 2008 at 3:45 PM. Essentially, next day shipping. Actually, it was less than 24 hours from the time RealHotStuff shipped it until it was at my door.

I wonder if that's a DHL thing. I like how a FedEx package will sit and sit at a location and will NEVER be delivered early.

I have not tried out the devices yet, but looks as advertised. Will probably mess with later tonight or tomorrow.

I would definitely recommend.

Of course, this is my first time posting, so believe me or not. But they're here and I'm excited as my son leaves for a trip next week with his God mother and wanted to have it packed and ready to go. Anyone know if a 2GB SanDisk will work. I didn't expect RealHotStuff to beat NewEgg on delivery .. still waiting for 2 4gb from them.

Thanks.

I've ordered 5 R4's, 2 SCminiSD's, and just today I ordered a CycloDs and M3 Perfect.

The R4's and SCminiSD's were delivered within one week of ordering (usually about 5 days).

I was amazed that I ordered the Cyclo and M3 this morning and when I got home from work, they have already shipped them.

RHS may not be the cheapest place to get flashcarts, but they are one of the speediest.

To save 5% on your order at RHS, use this coupon code: SAVE5 (that's SAVE and the number 5, all ran together)

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
