Homebrew anybody had this problem?

Hi, could somebody help me out with this slight problem?
after i installed thr hermes files using the online method i have found that my wii does not power off to the red light
instead it goes to the amber light, like it's in standby mode, if that makes any sense?
so in order for me to get it back to red i have to unplug it.

You probably turned on Wiiconnect24 for something.
Check that it is still disabled.

Thanks, That was the problem, can't remember turning it on though LOL.
Man i feel like an idiot.
Oh well at least it was a simple fix.
This site rocks, anytime anybody's got a problem, you can always be sure somebody will take the time to help out.
