I got a PS4 a short while back, along with three games in particular: "Persona 5", "Final Fantasy XV", and "World of Final Fantasy". They all work just fine on my console's current firmware, but I keep getting messages to update the firmware to either 5.00 or 5.01, and I have to constantly hit "Update Later". The problem is, I have younger siblings, and it only takes them screwing it up once to update my console.
Since the update files haven't been installed yet, is there any way to remove them from my console so I don't get the update screen all the time? (Also, as a secondary question, I'm pretty sure that I originally only had the update file for 5.00, and I haven't set up an internet connection. How did the console get the update files for 5.01? There is Wi-Fi available here at the college, and at home, but I haven't actually set up either one of those.)
