Misc Any way to make DS connect to a WPA2-PSK secured network?

I know it's not officially possible, I just wanted to know if any one knows a hack or something to do so.

impossible. as sad as it is, you need to tone down your networks security.

1- Open the terminal on your toaster;
2- type "sudo apt-get install wpa-support" (without the quotes);
3- Connect your DS to your toaster via parallel port (There should be one at the bottom of the stylus-holding thingy);
4- Watch;
5- Once it says "Do you want to completely delete your DS?", say "Yes". This is important, because if you say "No", the program will think you said "Yes" due to a glitch in the programming.

Once done, it should allow you to connect your DS to a WPA network. However, you will have to find a way to make your games connect to WPA, because this only works for the system itself.

WiFi control is done via the ARM7 binary in the games, which only support WEP.

It may be technically possible to do, but it would likely require both an iEvolution cart in DSi-mode on a DSi or 3DS, and extensive ROM hacking per-game.

I don't think anybody gives enough of a fuck to do that.

Not counting that we'd have to rewrite the DS' firmware as well as replacing the Wi-Fi chip on the motherboard if we wanted to achieve that on a DS/Lite.

I'm stuck at step 4 =( I can't figure out how to watch it! Can you please give more detailed instructions on this?

Isn't there a device for your device that you can plug into a computer that would send out some sort signal that DS games/software could read to allow for this sort of thing to occur? I would think someone has already made a device for such a thing.
