Hacking Any solutions for firmware 4.0?

It requires a CIOS 36 installed as CIOS 249, this is the one from Waninkoko's CIOS38 rev8 installer.

How does that make sense? I installed my first cios from a wad

wich it was packed as a .wad file, after someone used the cIOS36_rX-Installer.dol, for you don't make any sense because you haven't even ran an installer, am I right..??
