Who said the Mom-bomb was a pain?

I got all through the mountain up to that boss with Cecil at 20, Rydia at 19, and Ed/Rosa at 15. That lame blast took them out despite having protect active. Yang though in 2 kicks dropped the 6 targets with minimal damage to him...so I just used four PD's and backtracked to the pad to save and level up as I know the Fabul bits can be kind of annoying even in past versions.

Don't use protect -- it will kill all characters with the blast

Use defend instead and then use Rosa/Rydia's cura before the blue bombs hit you

I just got the airship and I'm supposed to go to this place...can't remember the name...Anyway, I got there and found out that the crystal was stolen by some dark elf. He's supposed to be hiding in a cave where metallic armor and weapons will paralyze the person. That means I have to make my characters wear weaker items. Should I go somewhere else first and strengthen my characters? And what items should my characters be wearing before I go to the cave? (I've already had them change into leather clothing.)

hey guys so when i press L+R it shows the characters running but it dosent actually come out of the battle so, do i 1st have to get Rosa in my party then do that? cause rosa is still in the Inn .. i will figure what to do next but i am just leveling

up right now and am very strong lol so ya u realy have to take this game with patience...

Err...did you want them to run away? I believe the R button will do. :3

You need to hold down the button I believe until they escape. Each character has a chance for escape, I think it might be based on stats as to the chances (Agility?). You can't escape from boss fights as far as I know.

just keep R pressed until they manage to escape.

I've made Cecil a paladin but every now and then after a battle the game just freezes up, like, the battle ends and then it's just a black screen

and i keep having to get him off that bloody mountain!!! has anyone experienced this problem aside from me?

Which card / firmware are you using? What is the CRC of your rom?

That will help narrow down the problem, and people can offer better suggestions.

I don't mind if you did follow SB faq? Meaning you got the chainspell and etc

I can away grind a bit more and w/e. Don't matter about the maps to.
