There has been a lot of talk lately about ace attorney but are their any games out there like it that are heavily story based? Anytype of gameplay will do but I'm looking for a good story to drive the game.

There is simple DS series vol8. - The Kanshikikan which is similar but it is fairly text heavy and in Japanese.

After that you are looking at another code/trace memory, Lost in Blue and a couple of other Japanese titles.

If you're wanting for more Gyakuten Saiban (Japanese name for Phoenix Wright), there's always the Gyakuten Saiban 3 translation project. It can be found here. Only the first case is translated, but it's still nice to play.

next.........year? uhhh as far as i know it's unannounced but next year is.....way too far. I don't think it's next year.

Most game sites are reporting Q1 2007. and it has indeed been announced as it was shown at E3... with the exception of Duke Nukem Forever, it counts as an announcement

Well since you're writing in english I figure the only other one you'll have access to without knowledge of Japanese on the DS would be TRACE MEMORY. This title like Phoenix is an outright text driven adventure, but unlike Phoenix there are a lot of neat mysteries and weird clues to solve, and in some cases requires using the DS itself in ingenious ways to solve them.

A great game, takes 2 passes though to get the full complete set of endings and see every bit of it. A first time pass on it should probably take you around 5 hours to complete, probably closer to 4 for the 2nd run. I loved it, not huge on text games, so with me recommending it means at least something.

Awsome, thanks for the tips. And the hunter figured right. I'm not up on my japanese. But thanks to everyone

Are you talking to yourself

?

Have you played all 4 titles (3x PW, 1x AJ)?

I thought Time Hollow was similar gameplay-wise, although not nearly as good. I enjoyed it anyway, though.

Well there are like three or four ace attorney games. If you've played all of them try Miami Law or the Jake Hunter games.
