Hacking Another bricked wii confuse

Hi guys,

Just wanna confirm on the solution for this kind of brick.

1.) Wii Startup with black screen.

2.) Savemiifrii Start show 3.2U

3.) Bricked cause of update from a higher version game disc or internet update and for sure its not a banner brick as the owner does not use hbc or wm.

4.) With Savemiifrii. it was able to boot AB Wad manager 1.3 but

5.) Don't have the wiimote synced as the Wii is bought 2nd hand.

Will update using a higher version update game (3.3U) will fixs this?
Please advise.

know of any games that come with 4.1 update on them? hes doing savemiifrii method, so needs to be a game update, and as far as im aware, the latest update on games is 3.4.

speaking of 3.4, if you do use a 3.4 update game, you better be sure that it hasnt been downgraded from 4.0/4.1 otherwise it will brick unrecoverably. by the sounds of things though, it hasnt been, as you said the previous owner never used hbc or anything like that.

If you are sure it hasn't been downgraded you can update to 3.4U or higher.

If you can launch Wad Manager you can use NUS Downloader to grab it and install the wad. I'm fairly sure a GC controller will work if you can't sync the wiimote.

dont forget to install ios60 when u install system menu 4.1 u can also get an ios60 with nus but i suggest googling around for the patched ios60

run NUSD and get the system menu 289 wad
and run wad manager to see if you can get the system menu working again.

i highly suggest you do not try to update until you can get the system menu 3.2 running good because you can possibly lose your trucha bug which is allowing you to run wad manger.

I was unable to do anything after AB wad installer as the GC controller wont work.
I found out there is a Mod on Wad installer 1.4 Mod that can use a GC controller but its not a Autoboot.
Hmm.. So what do you guys suggest i should do now?

Pretty sure Metroid Prime Trilogy has a 4.1 update.

I just getting info about the smashstack exploit.. but isnt it need to boot the game to be able to use?
