I'm not sure about this... but can't we all just dump any eshop games that we may have now that 2.1 Omega has the dump option?

They are both dumps from eShop.

"eshop" is the digital version of game also available in cartridge?
"3DSWare" are only available on eShop, made from indie devs?

They're being DDOS' because of the flood of users trying to download their new firmware haha

While true, the same systems are exploitable. Nothing has really changed. Still need < 4.5 FW to be viable. Where as with the PSP, every single FW was hacked at some point to which any PSP was open.

If smealum was able to exploit 6.1/6.3, I'm sure Gateway can find the exploit.

Well, they could make the games Wi-Fi compatible and support different firmware versions. Maybe even further down the line they could implement cheats.

There's the eshop games like PW and Harmoknight. Then there's 3dsware which is apps like youtube, pokebank or even game updates. It can also be old games (NES, SNES, GBA, etc). Either way, I tested it and only eshop games works on this 2.1 firmware

We don't know, but BigBlueBox is converting some content to *.3ds, which is compatible with Gateway, and 3DSware (*.cia) is supposedly to only work after being installed in the 3DS and currently there's no way to do this.

So, not asking for a link because that's wrong, but IS there any other way to get 2.1 other than their site because I've been rfreshign the page every 10 minutes and nothing has changed. Still can't get to the download page. I'm fine with waiting if that's what it takes, but considering the human race is all about instant gratification, I'd like to know if it's available anywhere in general. (Meaning don't post a link, just tell me if it's out there anywhere else)

It's been said several times already,. but I'll say it again. 3DSWARE DOES NTO WORK WITH THIS UPDATE. ONLY ESHOP TITLES.
