This hasn't even been put on NG's yet, its the ONLY unpatched one in the wild. Your little torrent is patched, so thats most likely your problem.

What IOS does the game try to use unpatched and why doesn't that IOS work?

I dont know what it uses UnPatched (not sure)

But I do know the retail game (which is basically a unpatched iso) doesnt break mods, so its the update in it is fine.

It works for me fine with GeckoOs...Disc-Channel shows it up, but can't load it...

Seems like connection with the DS only works with an American-ACWW...sadly...

I wouldn't mind to update if you can run the game with the disc channel (i will install a cIOS first, of course).

On D2pro it works. (on PAL wii)

But not from the discchannel, only from Gecko OS...

No it doesn't. I tried this release, patched it to IOS30, and when I boot up my Wii with the disc inserted it gives me an error about corrupted system files or something. It only works when going through Gecko OS.

I have the 3.3 firmware (the version before the latest update)

thats what i would like to know especially 3.2E as i've heard it doesn't work on that firmware (or below) because of the IOS or something, also does it work with a wiikey too?

but i am guessing it's going to be the same as wii music usa, as that wouldn't work normally via the disc channel on a pal wii and i had to use geko os to boot it.

Yes. Like everyone else, I needed to use Gecko OS, but I didn't need to patch to IOS30.
